PIKA announces partnership with software developer Viparious
OTTAWA, July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- PIKA Technologies Inc., a designer and manufacturer of plug-in media-processing hardware and software, today announced a partnership with Viparious, a developer of custom software. The company will use PIKA's Inline board to voice-enable its content-management system (CMS) solution currently in development.
Viparious's Rapport Plan System (RPS) is the only contact-management system that includes telephony and integration with a financial system. RPS provides an efficient way to manage and track follow-up with clients and prospective customers. The first release of RPS is scheduled for January 2008.
Typical of PIKA partners, Viparious was impressed with the speed with which they were able to deploy PIKA's solutions.
"Our solution is a testimony to PIKA's promise that its product would meet our quick time-to-market and ease of integration requirements," said Charles Teague, president, Viparious. "PIKA Technologies' high-level API GrandPrix allowed us to deliver an automated call-out solution that integrates with our clients' system in less than three months. That is three months from concept to deployment at our client's site."
Using RPS, Viparious's clients will be able to schedule automated phone calls to their prospective customers while current customers can be kept informed about announcements and will be able to participate in follow-up surveys. The call progress analysis functionality in the latest version of PIKA's GrandPrix API provides increased value to Viparious's customers by ensuring that more of its calls get through to both customers and prospects. RPS is an efficient solution that maximizes the sales pipeline for clients of Viparious and increases their follow-up business.
"Our client is elated and so are we," continued Teague. "PIKA Technologies' products and solutions added to our ability to accomplish our mission, which is to increase our clients' success through the creative application of information technologies. This is why we decided to integrate our Contact Management Solution, which we will release in January, 2008, with PIKA's Inline analog board."
PIKA sees this partnership as a harbinger of the market shift towards software companies incorporating voice in order to enhance the customer experience.
"Viparious incorporating telephony into their CMS solution is an indication of where the customer-relationship software industry as a whole is headed," said Terry Atwood, PIKA's Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care. "We are finding that PIKA boards are being used more often by companies like Viparious to bring voice to a market where it was previously unheard of, either because it was too complicated or too expensive a proposition. We are excited that our robust, inexpensive Inline analog board will deliver increased value to Viparious's customers."
