Zaldiva Sees New eBay and Internet Auction Drop-Off Center Contributing to Future Revenues
(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, October 22 / MARKET WIRE/ --
Zaldiva(TM), Inc. (OTCBB: ZLDV) (XETRA: UZ8) (FRANKFURT: UZ8), a specialty and online retailer of new and
vintage Pop Culture collectibles, comic books and memorabilia, stated today
that its new eBay and Internet Auction Drop-off center, located within its
Fort Lauderdale retail location, was experiencing consistent and steady
customer growth after only a couple months of operation. Zaldiva is
auctioning items for customers on eBay, Yahoo! Auctions, Amazon.com and
craigslist.
The trend in online shopping, and specifically the use of online auction
sites, is continuing to grow at a staggering pace. According to eBay's
most recent earnings release dated August 17th, "eBay reported record
consolidated Q3-07 net revenues of $1.89 billion, representing a
year-over-year growth rate of 30%."
Nicole Leigh van Coller, CEO of Zaldiva, commented, "Our eBay and Internet
Auction Drop-off site is doing several things for our business. First, we
are acquiring new customers that may never have come into the retail store
to browse. People are amazed at the amount and quality of collectible
merchandise we have in inventory once they start looking around the store.
Second, the drop-off center is a new revenue center for our store, and we
see the incredible potential of expanding this service; and, finally, the
increased participation by our staff members in listing and maintaining
sales of customer merchandise exposes us to opportunities to acquire
additional inventory at highly discounted prices."
Additionally, Zaldiva has recently been acquiring additional inventory from
collectors and enthusiasts at extremely favorable prices. "Most people
have old collectibles of some sort sitting around in attics, garages and
under their beds. We see a lot of this merchandise come into our store,
some of it is worthless, but much of it can be sold at a significant profit
if bought at the right price. Our personnel are experts at identifying and
appraising collectibles; and, a growing part of our business is acquiring
collections at significant discounts and turning them for a substantial
profit," added Leigh van Coller.
The company states that margins on re-selling collectibles purchased from
individuals can be thousands of percentage points. However, more typical
margins are upwards of fifty percent.
Zaldiva's entire collection of classic, pop-culture and modern memorabilia

location can also be accessed at:
