EXFO (News - Alert) announced that it is going to showcase its network testing and monitoring solutions at the GSMA Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) 2012 to be held from February 27 to March 1, 2012, in Barcelona, Spain. The demonstrations include the company’s full range of analysis and monitoring solutions for 2G/3G/LTE networks and also its advanced handheld field-testing solutions.
The GSMA (News - Alert) Mobile World Congress is dubbed as the largest exhibition for the mobile industry and it consists of an enhanced keynote program and more than 30 focused conference track sessions that will cover the latest technological trends and growth strategies for the global mobile industry.
EXFO, apart from demonstrating its solutions, will also be chairing sessions to showcase visitors about its ability to monitor and troubleshoot 2G/3G/LTE (News - Alert) networks and reveal new products from its research and development program.
EXFO explained that its centralized test and monitoring solution enables operators not only to enhance and optimize network performance, but also to proactively recognize potential service disruptions and fix them before they affect business operations.
The solution features simple yet accurate reporting capabilities and is purported to help users realize less network testing, less maintenance expenses, and more customer satisfaction. The company plans to demonstrate the solution’s benefits and features at the Mobile Congress.
EXFO will also be demonstrating its Tri-Pak, an all-in-one Ethernet, fiber and connector assessment solution, the BrixHawk Distributed Analyzer that was designed to bring down customer churn and its BrixNGN service assurance solution built for network performance optimization.
Officials with the company remarked that they have become a choice partner for both mobile network operators and mobile network equipment manufacturers, as their innovative solution enables seamless network convergence.
Their complete end-to-end assessment solution is designed with one purpose in mind: clearly target business imperatives of the mobile industry, such as minimizing time to market, reducing OPEX (News - Alert) and optimizing availability and QoE throughout the network lifecycle.
In other news, EXFO recently boosted its capabilities with the launch of a separate EXFO Apps section in its newly introduced store.
The launching of this portal, accessible from any EXFO FTB platform, reflects EXFO's commitment to deliver software applications that help make field-testing more efficient and boost productivity. As the FTB test platforms offer Internet data connectivity, users have continuous access to real-time notifications.
